Portable North Pole 2017

It’s that time of the year again, you know, when you can bribe your children into good behaviour because the big fella is coming to town and he brings gifts.

Like last year, I have downloaded the Portable North Pole App to my phone and have been using it whenever a certain three-nager misbehaves. Sorry, but why not? It’s not all year round that we have this opportunity. Getting phone calls from Santa and a personalised video has made the whole Santa experience so much more real. We have been struggling lately with the “sharing” thing, and by sharing I mean, Ari only ever wants whatever toy Ambrosia is playing with. If I hear the word “MINE” one more time I’m going to burst. So, I just say I’m going to call Santa if they don’t learn how to share, it’s so cute, there’s a scramble to give back the toy they were fighting over so that I don’t call.

When I did Ambrosia’s video I didn’t expect that she would really understand but she was so cute that hers is the reaction I’ve decided to share. The waving at the end melts me!!! Oh, I put in her name but poor Santa couldn’t pronounce it so I changed it to “Baby Girl”.
